"Teachers are the foundation of your school." That's what Leonard W. Schultz, co-donor of the 79-acre parcel of land to Faith Lutheran High School, believed. He believed it so strongly that he has put his conviction into action and established the
Leonard W. Schultz Family Endowment Fund.
The fund serves two purposes. It pays money to the teachers and it helps pay tuition for students who require financial assistance. In order for it to be a self-sustaining fund, it is set up so that annually only five percent may be withdrawn - basically the interest earned. But, the higher the principle, the higher the amount available for students and teachers. A generously supported fund will ensure that the staff's wages remain competitive and that every interested and eligible student can receive financial aid to attend the school.
