Welcome to the instrumental music department at Faith Lutheran High School. The department believes that music is an intrinsic and fundamental part of the human experience. It is an integral part of everyday life and an important component of worship. Conducted by David Gottschalk, FLHS' Concert Band performs at various events throughout the year in order to showcase their talents, enrich their musical knowledge and worship along with family and friends. FLHS hosts several band & choir concerts each school year, including a Christmas Concert and two Spring Concerts, to share and celebrate their God-given talents. In recent years, FLHS' Concert Band has traveled across Mchenry county sharing our musical abilities at area grade schools. It is important that our instrumentalists learn to Share their abilities, aqppreciate various genres of music, and above all,worship God with the musical abilities he has given them.
